Hello readers,
I have recently got caught up with Civilization 5 - Gods and Kings. This sucked up my day today sadly. I will be posting another installment of "The Walking Dead" game journal come tomorrow. How will our protagonist deal with the next set of events? who knows but stay tuned!
I will also be starting up a grand fantasy and start writing another journal based from the outstanding game, Baldurs Gate. I have picked up the enhanced addition and will be both reviewing that title as well as journaling it. I will try to be as unbiased as possible.
Help me steer this site to what you want to see more of by sending me feedback on what you would like to see more off and I'll do my best to accommodate it.
and no porn, at least not yet.
Until tomorrow - My the rolls be with you.

Day 3 - Shattered Peace
Morning came as I was woken up by another man sleeping in the barn. He and his family was spending the night as well before getting ready to head out. We chatted a bit and I found out his name was Kenny His family was wanting to head out to Fort Lauderdale - he introduced me to his son ducky and his wife shortly after. I ended up chatting with his wife before heading off to see if Kenny needed some help with his vehicle, and found out that she was a practising veterinarian. They managed to escape Atlanta, barely, by doing and seeing things they never wanted to. I cannot comprehend what they saw or did, but I did not push the subject. I left Clementine with her while I went off to help around the farm.
I slowly wandered off and met up with Kenny - Looking as though he was having some troubles with that old machine of his, I offered to lend a hand. He apparently didn't need any, but we got to talking and I found out that he is a commercial fisherman and has a sizable boat he could use if things got too sketchy. After chatting up about our possible options and directions, I felt that I had been useless enough and headed off to find Shawn at the back of the property fortifying the fence.
I slowly walked up to Shawn and noticed the boy on the tractor playing around. I guess Kenny was right, the boy is a little special. As I approached Shawn, while he was on his knees hammering in some sheet metal, I realized my leg was feeling better - that old man Hershel really helped out. Shawn and I got to talking about the days ahead while I cut some lumber for the fence. He is a good kid, and I owe him my life. I seemed to supply enough lumber for the time being and was asked to help out Hershel.
I ended up going full circle on the farm to help out Hershel. Hell, I toured that whole farmstead and I can't for the life of me remember what it looked like. Far to much shit has happened during this past day that I can't seem to remember where I was, what it looked like, or who I met. Hopefully I can adapt. I need to pay more attention, dazing off will get me or someone killed. As I was saying, I met up with Hershel in the barn and thought I could help out there. The old man didn't want me helping, in fact, he peppered me with so many questions I didn't know what to answer first. Hell I can't even remember the questions he asked, or the advice he gave afterword - all I do remember is hearing the tractor roar up and a cry for help.
I ran as fast as I could to help out while Hershel bolted to grab the gun. I found Shawn on the ground calling out for help while walkers started to attack the barricades to attack the boy and Shawn. As I got closer, I realized the tractor was on Shawn's leg, stupid ass boy shouldn't have been trying to turn on the tractor. In a quick panicked decision, I ran towards Shawn and tried to wrench him free, neither Shawn nor the tractor would budge. I tried to fend off the walkers with my bare hands, but it was too late. They broke through the barrier and fell upon Shawn like starving wolves to a sheep. I didn't know what to do until I heard gunshots. I turned to find Hershel running and shooting and ended up killing the walkers - but it was too late. Poor Shawn was dead in a few seconds.
Through the arguing, I found out that Kenny also came running when he heard the cried, but instead of helping, he grabbed his dumb boy and ran away, leaving Shawn to his demise while I desperately tried to save him. If Kenny only lent me a hand after grabbing his boy, Shawn might still be here.
Hershel thanked me for trying to help, but he did not want cowards on his farm and demanded Kenny and his family to leave right away. As this was my only ride, I opted to join Kenny thanked Hershel and headed off the farmstead and toward Macon...

Day 1 - Trip made short
I found myself arrested and convicted of a crime I believe I did not do. Bound in cuffs, I was thrown into a police cruiser for a ride to the penitentiary and made to suffer a long ride with a police officer that did not want to remain silent. The radio keeps blaring about some emergency so he turns it off as to stop interrupting his dialog. Damn cop, got himself too distracted trying to talk to me and we hit a pedestrian, only now I believe it was not a pedestrian.
We spun off the road road shortly after that. I don't remember much of what went on, but I do remember gun shots, lots of them. I awoke to find myself upside now in the cruiser with that cop no where to be seen. Not knowing the state of the rolled over cruiser, I looked for ways to escape. I tried moving towards the window, this is when I found out that I had hurt my right leg pretty bad. I fight through the pain and manage to kick out the back window.
As I fell out of the back window I was horrified to find the officer face down on the grass, his mangled body marinating in blood. Poor man, I wish I had asked for his name. I found that the officer had discharged his weapon and found one shotgun shell remaining. Bending over with what felt like someone was stabbing my left, I grabbed the shell and went to pick up the shotgun. Damn handcuffs, they were getting in the way and I had to get rid of them. I managed to limp to the dead officer and grabbed the keys from his belt and rid myself of this handicap. I heard the officer begin to move and was surprised, how could he suffer that much blood loss and still be able to move? Needless to say he was not.
His grey face snapped at me as I fell backwards, I shouted for the man to stop - he wouldn't; panicking I loaded the shotgun and shot to kill. I took half of that man's head right off. I sat in shock for a bit when I saw a little girl up on the ridge, I called out but she ran away. The sound of the gun and the dead man most likely scared her off. Looking around I heard a sound behind me, a half decayed corpse was walking towards me - hell, half a dozen of those fucking things came after me.
I ran as far as I could and jumped a fence to get some distance between those things and me. I heard a few more rounds being fired and that seemed to distract them. I had time to catch my breath and view my surroundings. I seemed to be in someone's backyard with a childrens tree house. With nobody answering my calls for help, I moved to investigate the house. Nobody answered the door so I managed to let myself in and proceeded inside, at first glance - the family may have needed more help than I did...
Day 2 - Escape to the country side
I found myself investigating the house. Still dazed from what had happened just a short while ago, I moved through the house with great caution. There seemed to be overturned furniture everywhere and signs of a struggle. There was blood and silence. This did not bode well. I heard a faint beeping sound and moved to investigate. I found an answering machine of all things with a few messages on it.
I wanted to learn more of my situation, so I listened to the messages. Things in Atlanta sound very, very bad. What I heard did not put me in any better spirits. I was given a bit of a fright when I heard a voice in the kitchen. I moved away from the machine and slowly crept into the kitchen in search for that voice. I rummaged through the cupboards and drawers to find a walky-talkie. I spoke into it not expecting a reply when a girl spoke on the other end telling me to be a little more quite.
I found out this girl was waiting for her parents to come home and she had been hiding in her tree-house with no ladder so those "things" could not get in. Smart little girl. I heard her scream, which made me turn around in time to find one of those "things" right behind me. I found myself in a fight for my life. I fought the thing off with all my strength and found I was slowly losing - but like a miracle from heaven, the girl was behind me handing me a hammer. I snatched the hammer from her hand and began to viscously smash in the head of what used to be a young woman. Out of breath and extremely grateful I catch my breath and get to know the little girl a little more.
I find out that her name is Clementine and does not want to stay in the tree-house another night. I decide to take action during the daylight as I do not trust the night. We head out through the back and head towards the main street. We saw two men trying to move cars out of the way in a panic. I find out their names are Shawn and Ched. We find ourselves being surrounded by these "things", these walkers. I helped Shawn push the cars out of the way while Ched kept on the lookout. Needless to say, all four of us managed to escape with the skin of our teeth. By this time, I was getting real sick of these walkers that keep popping up.
We stopped at Shawn's farm for the night where Shawn's father, Hershel, helped bandage my leg. He set us up the barn for the night to get somewhat of a good nights rest so we could tackle the new day...
